Scootertronics is your national resource for gas and electric motor scooters, accessories, helmets, locks, covers, and parts. Our internet offices are located in Maryland, just south of Washington DC with Sykesville MD location is a showroon and warehouse plus Repair Shop. We also carry High Performance parts for Yamaha, Honda, Kymco and many others.
Scooters may be fully prepped and delivered ready to ride for an extra charge, call for this service of a completely assembled and prepped scooter or choose at checkout.
Scootertronics offers email and phone support for all our scooters.
With the addition of a full time shop and retail location we are able to better service
internet purchases as well as we do local pick ups on all our scooters for repairs and service.

Scootertronics specializes in selling scooters that are used for commuting and for fun. We carry all types of gas powered and electric scooters and ship nationwide. We carry gas and electric powered scooters from: Vento, Strada (QJ) Keeway, Linhai, Meitian and JMStar.
All SALES ARE FINAL there are no returns on scooters go carts or ATVs due to shipping expenses. Any returns for defective parts or products must have a RMA issued within 7 days to return for credit or replacement.

We carry a wide selection of motor sizes such as 50cc to 250cc in a variety of manufacturers. Scooters cost a little more when picking up at our store than being delivered due to them being prepped ready to ride as in uncrated, tested and broken in to the point where there will no problems plus we give a labor warranty. When not using this service the customer needs to do prep or pay for it to be done as in set up and starting for the first time and there is only a parts warranty.
Any scooter can be fully prepped and delivered ready to ride nationwide.

Shipping Really is FREE!
Shipping on all of our scooters is free. We sell and ship scooters nationwide. You can expect shipping to take about five to seven business days once you have placed your online order. Scootertronics ships all scooters by Estes Freight and Global Trans or FedEx (Xtreme Scooters) to your residence. Shipping is free for all types and makes of scooters.
We also offer delivery of a running fully set up and prepped scooter to your home. If you would like your scooter to be fully prepped on delivery, please call us first before ordering or let us know in comments at checkout and we will call you for information and additional charges.
Scooter shipping will take five to seven business days. If you need your scooter sooner, please let us know and we'll try to work it out for you ahead of time. Shipping for Tank scooters will be slightly longer; seven to ten business days to arrive at your door.
Billing and Back Orders
Scootertronics accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as well as PayPal on our secure Yahoo! server. Phone orders, mail orders, checks, and money orders are also welcome. Your credit card is not charged until we have shipped your scooter to you.
When you place your order, we will authorize the total amount only on your card. If by some chance, your scooter is on back order, your credit card will be charged when your scooter is ready for prepping and shipping.
Please contact us via phone or email if you will be paying with a check or money order so we will know it is on the way. PayPal users please pay ScooterMike@Comcast.net. When ordering by PayPal, make sure to include all the information on the shipping address, the model of your new scooter or products, plus the color and any additional information in the comments section so we will be able to process your order promptly.

Scootertronics offers a 180-day parts only warranty on all scooters. We offer a 180 day or 6 months parts only warranty for non local on Meitian, Strada, and Vento, Keeway, Linhai get a 6 months to one year parts warranty. See each scooter page for warranty info. All local sales get a one year limited parts and labor warranty.
Xtreme scooters carry a 30 day parts only warranty, The Xtreme scooter warranty is handled directly through Xtreme and not through Scootertronics. Our 150cc scooters come with 180 day parts only warranty.
Parts do not carry a warranty. If you have a problem with a part please call us for suport. All high perfromance parts are for off rod use only.
Labor Warranty
We do not offer a labor warranty, except on local sales. We offer a limited labor warranty for fully prepped on delivery scooters, but it depends on which scooter you have ordered.
Warranty For Factory Defects Only
All Scootertronics warranties covers factory defects only. Damage that occurs during shipping or handling is not covered under our warranty.
Please inspect your scooter during delivery for any damage and note any problems on the freight bill while the truck driver is still there. Please contact the shipper immediately to process a claim directly with them. In the event that a scooter does arrived damaged, we will help to replace parts plus damaged panels within reason, determined by us, working in conjunction with the shipper. Please let us know within 24 hours if there is damage when you receive your delivery, by calling 1-800-743-8702.
We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user, shipping damage, or any other abuse situation. Scootertronics may require that the damaged parts be shipped back to us for inspection and consideration before replacing them. Return shipping costs to Scootertronics must be paid for by the customer. We will send new parts within a reasonable amount of time without needing to inspect defective parts in some cases.
We value your business and will work with you if you have a problem. We are a reputable company and do not want you to worry. We will always work to help you resolve a damage problem with a carrier. Improper Use
Scootertronics is not responsible for the improper use of the merchandise we sell. We care about our customers and urge you to exercise caution and take the necessary safety measures to protect yourself while riding your new Scootertronics scooter. . If you choose to assemble your scooter yourself you are responsible for its safety and road worthiness.
Licensing & Registration
Laws vary from state to state, so please make sure to review your state laws in regard to scooter use and the age of drivers. Scootertronics provides a MCO and each scooter has a vin plate stating it meets Federal standards. If required in your city or state, you, the purchaser, are responsible for operating and registering the scooter in accordance with state, local laws, and ordinances.
Every scooter comes with a MCO that can be used as a title and to get tags if they are needed. We also provide a Bill of Sale. If you need another document for your state, just let us know, and we will send it to you. We have never had a problem with our scooters being used in any state.

Operating this vehicle involves some risk of serious bodily injury and/or death. By ordering from Scootertronics, you the buyer, agree to accept full responsibility for any vehicle operation that may lead to personal injury, economic loss, social distress, other losses, costs, and damages. Scootertronics is not responsible for any injuries and/or damages resulting from any use; proper, improper, or unsafe vehicle operation.
You must have a professional mechanic (any small engine repair shop, motorcycle shop, or local auto repair shop will do) assemble your new motor scooter and do the prep work to assure that your motor scooter is in good working condition and safe to ride. Failure to do this could result in injury! By ordering from Scootertronics you assume all responsibility for the safety of your scooter and any riders. You must have a professional mechanic work on your motor scooter to file any warranty claims.
Returns/Cancellations
Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Scooters can only be returned in the original crate and must not have been ridden or unpacked. All shipping costs must be paid by customer. Parts can not be returned once used. Helmets can not be returned. Helmet size is very important, so please get it right. We will work with you if any problems occur and will do what ever we can to resolve any problem fairly to everyone involved.
Please inspect your scooter crate while the freight driver is still there and note any damage on the delivery freight bill. Refusing a shipment because of scratches that do not effect the usability of a scooter does not warrant refusal of a shipment. You will still be responsible for shipping charges plus all credit card processing fees. Body panels can be replaced at the cost of the shipping company. In the unlikely event that this happens, please contact us right away. We will work with you to get any problems corrected.
The shipping company is at fault when there is damage from shipping or handling, not Scootertronics. We will work with all customers to handle their claims by replacing damaged parts first and then making a claim with shipper. However, the shipper will pay a claim by a customer in a matter of weeks and this is the fastest way to solve any damage problems that occur during shipping. This is a win-win situation for the you, the customer.
You may return your scooter if it has not been uncrated, unpacked, or used in anyway. You will have to pay all shipping charges plus credit card processing fees (2.5%) and a 30% restocking fee.
It is much easier and more cost effective to simply fix or replace a damaged or defective part.
We have never had a return or an unsatisfied customer. We are focused on providing great customer service and work hard to make sure that you are delighted with your new Scootertronics scooter.
You may cancel your order within the first 24 hours only. After that time, you will be responsible for all shipping charges and processing fees.
Scootertronics not responsible for typos or unreasonable demands from our description. That means if its too good to be true it is not.
